Nolan on Superman
So Chris Nolan's a consultant of some kind on a Superman reboot. The Dark Knight was awesome. Good news is, it's a reboot. Further good news is, with Nolan's success on Batman, the WB will probably bend over backwards to accommodate the film. Bad news is, well, there's not any, I don't think. You know what sells me on Nolan's involvement in a Superman film? The action in TDK night was fun, the Joker was great, and that scene when the prisoner has the choice to destroy other to save himself all tell me he doesn't just know Batman, he knows how a superhero movie should work.

There are those that gripe that Nolan isn't a comic book fan, but I don't think you need to be a fan of something to know what's best for it. JJ Abrams wasn't a fan of Star Trek and he breathed fun and vitality back into the franchise, ditto Nolan and Batman.
Coversely look at fan-fiction.
I rest my case.
Ok, Nolan didn't so much bring fun to Batman but he brought a heaping pile of vitality to the table. Just needed to correct my statement.
Oh, is Superman's costume going to be "reimagined" as a bundle of used car parts, too?
Yours with heaping apathy,
Mr. Farrell
What's it like being King Hater of Hater Mountain, Jesse? What's it like?
It's pretty effin' sweet up here, I gotta tell you.
No. Just no. Mr. Nolan sucked all the twisted fantastic from Batman, and he'll do the same for Superman. This is going to be a disaster.
