That's what I've been trying to tell you!

DC: "Hey, it might be a good idea to make a Supergirl comic designed to appeal to little girls."

Every one who has so much as heard of the character: "Well, duh."

From Newsarama-

"DiDio asked Jann Jones what's coming up for the Johnny DC line, and she plugged Supergirl: Cosmic Adventures in the Eighth Grade, a six-issue mini coming "hopefully in the fall" by the creators of the "Kids Gravity" series that originated In Disney Adventures."

All snark aside, I think this is a great idea and its nice to finally see it happen.

It would be a far BETTER idea if this image bore even a passing resemblance to how DC is currently portraying 'Supergirl' in any other media. But it's NOT, so this proposed mini-series seems destined for EPIC FAILURE already.

It's true. This would be far better if this 8th grade 13 year old Supergirl was wearing a belly shirt with a low cut miniskirt.

Yeah. That makes alot of sense. There's no other way a character that's been published for 50 years wearing a slightly altered Superman costume would be recognized.

There's lots of room for different versions of the character. I think all you really need to be recognized as Supergirl is to be a girl in a Superman-like costume.

Also, can we play nice? I'd appreciate it, guys.
